Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit this website or use our project, timesheet and billing software (the Service), why we handle it, and the choices you have.
1. Two kinds of data
We handle data in two different roles:
- Account and website data, such as the details you enter when you sign up or contact sales. For this data we decide how it is used.
- Workspace data, such as projects, tasks, timesheets, rate cards, invoices and client records that your firm puts into the Service. For this data your firm decides how it is used, and we process it on your firm's instructions as described in our Data Processing terms.
2. What we collect
When you sign up or contact sales
- Name, work email, company, role, firm type and team size
- Billing models, invoice currency and tools you use today, if you share them
- Any message you write to us
When you use the Service
- User profile: name, email, role, team and permissions
- Work records your firm creates: projects, tasks, sprints, timesheet entries, leave, skills, change requests and invoices
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, sign-in times and error logs, used to keep the Service secure and working
What we never collect
- Screenshots, screen recordings or webcam images
- Keystrokes, mouse movement, application usage or browsing history
- Activity or productivity scores for individual people
3. How we use it
- To create and run your workspace and send your login details
- To answer sales and support questions
- To bill your subscription
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems
- To send product and account emails. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time
4. AI features
AI Project Health analyses project-level data, such as effort against progress, team load and open scope, to flag risks. It describes projects and workload. It is not designed to evaluate, rank or score individual employees, and its output should not be used for appraisals.
Your workspace data is used only to provide the Service to your firm. It is not sold, and it is not used to train models that serve other customers.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host, email, or process payments for us, under contracts that require them to protect it
- Integrations your firm turns on, such as Jira, GitHub, Slack or your accounting system, and only the data needed for that integration
- Authorities, where the law requires it
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest. Access inside the Service is role-based, so sensitive data such as salaries, costs and margins is visible only to the roles your firm allows. Our own staff access workspace data only to provide support you ask for, or to keep the Service secure.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. If your firm stops using the Service, workspace data stays available for export for 30 days and is then deleted from active systems, with backups cleared on their normal cycle. Sales enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to certain uses, and to withdraw consent. If your data is in a firm's workspace, please contact that firm first. We will help them respond.
9. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed to run it, such as a session cookie for the security check on our forms. The Service uses cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, reach us through the Connect with sales page and choose any topic. Mention "privacy" in your message and it will reach the right person.
