Terms of Service
These terms apply when your firm signs up for and uses our project, timesheet and billing software (the Service). By creating a workspace, you agree to them on behalf of your firm.
1. Your workspace
A workspace belongs to the firm that created it. The person who signs up confirms they are allowed to accept these terms for that firm. Workspace owners decide who is invited, what roles they have and what data is entered.
2. Free trial
New workspaces get a 30-day free trial for up to 25 people. No payment is taken during the trial. At the end of the trial you can choose a paid plan. If you do not, the workspace becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export your data, and is then closed.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans are priced per user per month. A user is anyone who logs time, approves timesheets or manages projects.
- Monthly plans are billed each month in advance. Annual plans are billed once a year in advance.
- Adding users mid-term is charged pro rata for the rest of the term. Removing users takes effect at the next renewal.
- Prices are in USD. Customers in India are billed in INR at the equivalent rate, with applicable GST added.
- We give at least 30 days' notice before any price change, and changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to monitor people in ways it is not designed for, or in breach of employment or privacy law
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful
- Try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the security of the Service
- Resell the Service or share logins between people
5. Your data
Your firm owns the data it puts into the Service, including projects, timesheets, rate cards, client details and invoices. You give us permission to host and process that data only to provide the Service. You can export it at any time. How we process it is set out in our Data Processing terms and Privacy Policy.
6. Invoices you create
The Service helps you build invoices for your own clients from approved timesheets, milestones and change requests. Your firm is responsible for checking each invoice before it is sent, including tax rates, GST details and amounts. We are not a party to your contracts with your clients.
7. AI features
AI Project Health gives forecasts and suggestions based on your data. They are estimates to support decisions by your managers, not guarantees, and should be checked before you act on them. They are not designed for evaluating individual employees.
8. Integrations
When you connect third-party tools such as Jira, GitHub, Slack or accounting software, their own terms also apply. We are not responsible for changes or outages in those tools.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, apart from planned maintenance, which we announce in advance where possible. Support is provided through the channels included in your plan.
10. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your workspace settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. We may suspend a workspace for unpaid invoices after reminders, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms.
11. Liability
The Service is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your firm paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data that could have been exported.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we will tell workspace owners by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
